Curator’s Note

The composition maps Leonardo's Cenacolo (1495–98) onto the Amazon leadership team as of Q3 2018. Jeff Bezos occupies the Christ position at center, hands open, slightly elevated. The twelve figures to either side hold objects substituted for Leonardo's iconographic attributes: a laptop displaying quarterly revenue, a logistics flowchart, a Prime delivery manifest. The Judas figure has been identified by three former Amazon employees whose identifications do not agree.
