Sculpture from the Permanent Collection
March 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026
Curated by Ingrid Fassbender-Löhr
Exhibition Text
“The founder's face is a logo. The bronze bust is a quarterly report. Corporate Bodies surveys the AKU's sculpture collection from the Rockefeller-era portrait tradition to contemporary monumental commissions, asking a simple question with no simple answer: whose body is this, and who ordered it?”
A survey of the AKU's sculpture collection: from classical busts in commissioned corporate portraits to monumental outdoor installations. The exhibition asks what it means when the founder's body becomes a visual program.
